ITV and Matchroom have agreed a new three-year deal to extend Champion of Champions snooker coverage until 2028, continuing to bring snooker fans live, free-to-air coverage of one of the sport’s most prestigious tournaments.

The renewed deal secures ITV as the exclusive UK home of the event through 2026, 2027 and 2028, ensuring viewers can continue to enjoy world-class snooker featuring the game’s biggest names and most decorated champions.

The Champion of Champions, promoted by Matchroom Multi Sport, has become one of the standout fixtures on the World Snooker Tour calendar since its launch in 2013, combining elite competition with a distinctive presentation and atmosphere that fans and players alike relish.

Emily Frazer, CEO of Matchroom Multi Sport, said: “We’re thrilled to extend our long-standing partnership with ITV for the Champion of Champions. Over the past decade, this event has grown into one of the most anticipated weeks in the snooker season, celebrating the very best of our sport. ITV’s commitment to top-tier coverage and storytelling has been integral to that growth, and this new three-year deal ensures fans will continue to enjoy the event on free-to-air television through 2028.”

The 2025 Champion of Champions takes place 10-16 November this year before the new extended agreement comes into effect from 2026.
