CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS RETURNS AS SELBY DEFENDS HIS CROWN, 9–15 NOVEMBER 2026 – TICKETS ON SALE SOON
January 16th, 2026Matchroom Multi Sport is thrilled to announce that the Champion of Champions will return to the iconic Mattioli Arena in Leicester from 9–15 November 2026, with spectator tickets set to go on sale at 3pm on 17 February.
One of the crown jewels of the snooker calendar, the 2026 Champion of Champions will once again feature an elite, invitation-only field of title-winning players, as champions from the previous season go head-to-head for one of the sport’s most prestigious trophies.
Returning to defend his crown is reigning Champion of Champions title-holder Mark Selby, following his triumph at the 2025 edition of the event. For the first time, Selby will defend the Champion of Champions title in his hometown of Leicester, adding an extra layer of intrigue as he looks to retain the trophy on home soil.
Reflecting on his return, Selby said: “Winning the Champion of Champions is always special, but to have the opportunity to defend the title in my hometown makes it even more meaningful. Playing in Leicester in front of family, friends, and fans is something I’m incredibly proud of, and I can’t wait to return to the Mattioli Arena and try to lift the trophy again.”
